CHRIS ALFORD

Chris Alford is one of the countryís busiest musicians, usually being in 5 or more bands at any one time! Keyboards and piano are Chris's main instrument but he also regularly performs on guitar, bass, flute and backing vocals.
He grew up singing in the school choir and learning classical piano, but was soon led astray by discovering rock music on cassettes and vinyl. After studying at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, he has performed with many of Australiaís top artists here and overseas.
Chris joined Damien Leith's band in 2011 and has performed with him across the country ever since. Some other artists he has toured and recorded with have been Marcia Hines, Russell Morris, Ian Moss, Brian Cadd, and many more. Chris has also covered many classic artists in tribute bands such as the Bee Gees, Dire Straits, Split Enz/Crowded House, Fleetwood Mac, the Blues Brothers etc. etc.
